Villa Layout
Villa Kayajiwa is built in an L-shape around a stunning 25-metre pool with a large wooden sun deck and tropical garden. Most of the villa’s rooms are on the ground floor and are connected with a walkway. On the upper floor is the massage room, one guest room and a large furnished roof terrace. The villa’s layout and the picture-perfect rice-field views make it a great spot for entertaining, relaxing and experiencing outdoor tropical living.
Living Areas
Indoor
The wall panels in Villa Kayajiwa’s living and dining space can be opened up entirely for a tropical-living experience overlooking the pool (although the space can equally be closed and air-conditioned if a cooler environment is preferred). The dining room is furnished with a stunning solid wood table which can easily seat ten, while the warm tones of the living room, combined with the colourful sofas and the beautiful ornaments (including a very impressive Balinese wedding crown), give this space a very authentic Eastern feel.
The kitchen is across the corridor from the living room and has all modern comforts and appliances, including a very large fridge and worktop. Guests are welcome to make use of it as they please.
The machine in the purpose-built karaoke room is stocked with all the Western ballads and Asian K-pop you’ll need to sing the night away. Furnished with two comfortable sofas, this room doubles as a home cinema and has its own bathroom.
Upstairs, the massage room is furnished with a treatment table and shares a bathroom with the adjacent twin guest bedroom.
Outdoor
Villa Kayajiwa is perfectly set up for outdoor living. Four comfortable loungers are arranged on the sun deck and a large jacuzzi flows into the 25-metre swimming pool, while a spacious balé makes a great spot for an afternoon snooze.
The large tropical garden is bordered by a moat, and the sound of running water throughout the villa’s outdoor spaces creates a relaxing oasis.
Upstairs is a large roof terrace with a barbecue pit and stunning rice-field views. Furnished with two all-weather sofas, this is the perfect sun trap during the day and a great spot for cocktails at sunset.
Bedrooms
The master bedroom, called Sejoli, is very large indeed. Its four-poster bed has a beautiful velvet canopy, which gives the room a very romantic, almost palatial feel. It comes with a separate dressing room and an adjacent space that can be used as a small office area. In the ensuite bathroom is a very inviting stone tub and shower.
The two spacious ground floor guest bedrooms, Senja and Surya, are mirror images of each other and come with king-size beds and dressing rooms. The wooden furnishings and authentic Balinese paintings provide a very cosy environment and each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, TV and mini bar. Both bedrooms also have semi-open-air ensuite bathrooms with a shower and tub overlooking private patio gardens.
The fourth, slightly smaller guest bedroom, Suarga, is upstairs and is furnished with two single beds. This room shares an ensuite bathroom with the adjacent massage room. Wooden hatches provide perfect views over the rice fields on one side and the pool on the other.
